It was a wet Sunday morning. The weather reports forecast rain through the day, but this did not stop us, a party of 9 from visiting Rottnest Island. To get to Rottnest Island, we took a bus from Perth city to Fermantle. This was because the train tracks of the south line was under maintenance. If you intend to visit Rottnest Island, I would advice you to take a train to Fermantle. From Fermantle railway station, walk to the E Shed Markets. From here you can board a fast craft called the "Rottnest Express" to Rottnest Island. The fast craft ticket to Rottnest Island cost A$48. It takes about 45 minutes to reach there from the E Shed Markets. |
